The house is nicely equipped, with a great view on the mountain. The welcome/check in from Janine was great with good communication throughout our entire stay. Great spot to explore the island.

We were on Madeira when it was exceptionally cold and the houses are not made for cold. We were able to warm up 2 rooms but I would recommend to bring slippers. As the house is quite high on the mountain, the weather was comparibly cloudy and cold In comparison to closer to the beach. As we were anyway on the road all day, we did not mind.

Wonderful house with beautiful view on the Sao Vicente, I can definitely recommend everyone to choose this place for staying. We enjoyed it very much and I have nothing bad to say about this place. Representative of the host - Janine was very kind and showed me all the facilities.

There are lizards running all over the yard, and while they are really to cool to look at, it would be nice to have a way of stopping them from walking into the house, because if we wanted to open the door and let some fresh air inside, then it was unavoidable to have one or more of them getting inside.
