Superb location with very special views

Bed was only a double in width, bedroom would easily take a king so would recommend that's upgraded in the future.

Great location (saw otter & deer from the living room). Extremely comfortable.

Beautifully renovated house, bedrooms, utility room and bathroom downstairs all with plenty of space and the main bedroom with fabulous view out to the bay. Upstairs the kitchen and living room area again with view using a window the width of the room to maximise the effect and light. Velux roof windows too brought in lots of light. Simple stylish furnishings suited it perfectly. Kitchen well equipped with freezer downstairs in utility room, perfect for not disturbing the silence you experience when staying here. Bathroom has large shower cabinet with an excellent shower fitted. Modern heating too, electric thermostat radiators throughout, very cosy at night and in the morning. The enjoyment is a credit to the housekeeper who presented the house immaculately clean and as new on arrival. Location is superb, less than half mile from Tarbert and down a track from the road there is no sound of cars passing and the house is private with a great view over Urgha bay,its idyllic. Excellent communication too from the owner who offers his number should you have any issues. We had a wonderful five nights in Harris and I cannot recommend this house enough, it’s wonderful.

This is not a criticism as the shape of the land is what it is, the car parking area is quite tight. If you have a large car you need to be very careful when turning to leave the house, the parking area does have steep drop offs as it sits higher than the house so just be careful especially in the dark.

The location was excellent. You were remote and the views were amazing but you are within walking distance to the Harris hotel and the distillery. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything you needed.
