Francesco is a wonderful, kind host who was invested in making our stay comfortable. The location in central Lucca is great; you can easily walk everywhere! The room has everything you need and the beds were comfortable. I would stay here again.
Being up on the 3rd floor on a sunny day (high 20s) the apartment got a bit stuffy, even with the window open and the fan blowing. The view from the room is the backside of a quite modern building, not the historic buildings from the pictures (you can lean out the window in the hallway and catch a glimpse of the nice square, but the room itself looks out over an back alley).
