Raka Rai Bungalows

L'emplacement est idéal, proche du centre-ville et devant la forêt des singes. C'était notre première nuit à Bali et boire un café en observant les singes et les écureuils pour un premier réveil, c'est top ! La literie est extrêmement confortable, l'hôtel est calme tout en étant proche du centre-ville. Le personnel est d'une extrême gentillesse. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Lokatie was perfect, echt even hele goede uitvalsbasis om van hier dag trips te maken. Monkey forest om de hoek. Bedden zijn btw ook goed.

Hier en daar wat achterstallig onderhoud metname badkamer en rondom zwembad . Niet slecht maar kan zeker verbeterd worden.

I want to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my stay at Raka Rai. As a family of 4 (two children 3 and 6 years old) we booked this hotel based on the photos and comments (pre-covid) but we got 2 double rooms full of green and black mould and with the walls highly damaged by the humidity, see photos. I tried to address the issue to the owner that ignored my remarks. Not only there was very loud music played nearby until midnight but the hotel was renovating a floor and noisy works were starting from 6am until 6pm. On top, the hotel is at at end of a dark narrow street and the swimming pool is used by the monkeys as their playground and toilet. To complete, we got the information just the evening before that the hotel wanted only payment by cash, and it is very difficult to find a bank in the zone. In a nutshell, they are not honest with what is shown in their pictures, and if you want to remain healthy and sleep well, run away!!

The host were friendly and really helpful.Loved the location , walkable from the city centre.

El jardín, la piscina y la ubicación inmejorables. El exterior es precioso y está muy cuidado, dan ganas de quedarse en el alojamiento y no salir para disfrutarlo. Está en una calle muy concurrida con mucho ambiente y a 3 min andando del Palacio de Ubud pero en el alojamiento no se escucha nada, es un remanso de paz. A tener en cuenta que al estar tan cerca del Monkey Forest, los monos vienen por la mañana para coger la comida de las ofrendas pero luego se van y es bastante divertido incluso verlos.

La habitación estaba muy sucia. Faltaba limpieza en profundidad y tampoco habían limpiado lo básico de los clientes anteriores como el baño. Encontrar manchas de humedad en Ubud es común pero en este alojamiento nos pareció excesivo.

Great spot, saw lots of monkeys. Friendly staff, carrying bags upstairs, no problem. Handy spot close but away from the hustle & bustle. View was amazing to wake up to every morning.

Steps a bit tricky for older guests. But definitely stay again.
