The Geneva Getaway

We spent 3 nights in January, and this little apartment in Geneva is absolutely perfect for a couple or a single person. It's everything you look for in an airbnb style rental. Clean, comfortable, and close to everything Geneva has to offer. Admittedly, we were skeptical of the area when we Google mapped it, but there were zero issues whatsoever. Owners are super helpful and quick to reply. The place has everything you could need or want, and I could go on. For our next couple trip to Geneva, I will be looking here first to book.

Nothing

For the price point, very good. Sizeable — basically a one bedroom apartment with nice kitchen and dining area. Good size for two people and great for solo. Newly renovated interior. Good location — walkable to the lake, restaurants, bars. Very short walk to the transit hub if you are coming in to Geneva by bus and/or need to use the Regional Transit Service to get from Geneva to other regional towns. Also some very nice and colorful characters as neighbors. Uncle Chico is the man!

The house itself (the exterior) has definitely seen better days.

The place inside was beautiful...the street is a little run down and forgotten, however the neighbors were very nice and welcoming. The location was in walking distance to MANY wonderful bars, taverns, restaurants....

the permanent tenants in the other units constantly smoked pot and the smell was constant and very strong at times not much anyone can do to fix the situation and some do not mind the smell

Freshly renovated, very clean, well decorated.

Bathroom layout, especially the toilet bowl, very very cramped. The toilet barn door looks cool but gets annoying with use. The quality of the linens could be improved, we were very hot even with the air conditioning.

I will be coming back what a beautiful place to relax and unwind. It is breathe taking.
