We really enjoyed it here, it was the quiet season so we had a very peaceful stay, the room was great value. Great location, by the beach and across from a shop. The family are lovely and always around to help. There are a few seats and tables for eating which is nice.

The kitchen was a little lacking in utensils but we managed to cook everything we wanted to.

"Hotel close to beach and restaurants"

8.0

Nice hotel close to the beach, many cafe and restaurants. Supermarket just in front of the hotel and you can also cook your food in the available kitchen. Recommend.

Excellent location a few minutes walk from the beach and friendly staff. The communal courtyard area was lovely.

Let down by a few minor things - the towels provided were tiny, more like a head towel than a body towel. There was no bedside table on one side of the bed and no bedside lamps, the only lighting was a harsh ceiling light.

The location was the only good thing about this hostel

Our bad experience started as soon as we entered the building. We were informed that the electricity was currently not working but should be back on in a few hours. We were left in a room with no working fan for 6 hours before we were offered a change as the electricity had come back on in parts of the building. That night we had to cook in the dark as the power still wasn’t restored. We had nowhere to charge our phones after a long travel day as our charging ports were dead and were never provided with an update on the situation as to when the issue would be resolved. The owner also tried to fine us for hanging our clothes on a drying line outside but it never stated that it was for private use and that we couldn’t use it as a facility. When we were leaving the owner demanded that we payed the fee and we tried to communicate with her over Google translate as our Spanish isn’t very good but she refused to listen and started screaming at us for at least 5 minutes. We agreed to pay the fine to stop the argument and when we put the money on the counter she grabbed it and threw it back at us including coins. The rooms of the hostel are also full of mosquitos and we got bitten more times in the rooms here than we have on the remainder of our 3 months of travelling.
