Clean Friendly staff Close to facilities

Owners : Vijaya guesthouse is run by husband and wife team, Murugan and Kavitha, who are devotees and run the guesthouse as a safe and comfortable place for pilgrims and visitors. Solo female travellers can feel especially safe and at home here. Exceptional service. Kavitha cooked delicious, sattvic, pure vegetarian food (no onion/garlic/spice) almost every day for me. Her kindness and dedicated service was a highlight of my stay. Murugan also arranged taxis, flight bookings and a SIM card for me. Both of them helped me settle in easily and answered all my questions about the area. I would like to thank them and their staff very much for a truly wonderful stay. Spotlessly clean rooms with a kettle, large fridge and tasteful furnishings. Housekeeping and laundry service was on request and very efficient. Housekeeping staff were very attentive and pleasant. Location: a few minutes walk from Ramana ashram, Ramsuratkumar ashram, mahasamadhi shrines of Sadhu Om and Tinnai Swami. A 10 minute ride by Auto to the main temple in town. Rooftop terrace. The terrace affords a beautiful view of Sri Arunachala.

Rooms on the second and third floors are quieter. There is certainly cheaper accommodation available in the area, but this guesthouse is a good place to start if you are new to Tiruvannāmalai.

Bed sheets from previous customers. I came 2 pm, check in time - 12.00, room wasn't ready. I waited and saw staf left same bed sheets on the bed.

The location is excellent close to ashrams. The rooms are quiet and have balconies and outside space which is very relaxing.

The room is very clean cozy and equipped with an open shelf made out of cane to keep our belongings which I really liked. Other aspect I liked a lot is that it has huge windows.
