The bungalow is ample, good size of bathroom . The view is nice but not a proper beach.

Location is far from everything. Nearest fisherman's village is quite filthy and no proper shops. Also the bungalow didn't have anything, no kettle, no fridge, not even cups. I wasn't advised that the island is only cash (USD and euros only). Only 1 decent place to eat but we needed to walk a bit, It was rainy season so the path was a bit mudy. I lost money because to get in and out there paid usd30 + all the reservation even I stayed only 1 night. To go for a proper beach you need to walk like 40' . No internet. I felt frustrated and isolated. I moved to another part of the island where has beaches and more touristic. Options

I booked this accommodation because the owners seemed to be fantastic according to the reviews. I was traveling alone, and I just wanted some time relaxing on the island. I tried to get in touch before my arrival, because I wasn't sure which port was most suitable to arrive (there are multiple options), I also wanted to know how the transport to the place would work. I didn't get a reply, which was OK, because I thought I would figure it out by myself. I spent over an hour looking for this place, because the address on Booking.com leads to a school even outside of the village, and Booking App itself does not show roads. I had a friend with a motorbike who, thankfully, was willing to help me, together with the locals. After arrival it felt like the lady was somehow surprised I made it there. At this moment I was still excited; I finally arrived, quite an adventure! You must imagine that the roads to the place are muddy and even with the motorbike it was a challenge, but that's what travel is about! This was not the big deal at all! But the welcome was the coldest when the lady stood in het doorway and just said ''your bungalow is the second one, it's ready for you''. Waw, ok.. You can't expect too much of the bungalow, the price is low and this is how I like it. But I received no hello, she thought my friend was also gonna stay with me, and so the only comment I got from her was ''you booked 1 person'' - correct. My friend and I got the weirdest vibe from this interaction and the host did not give me any information. When I asked something, I clearly disturbed her and she had a rude tone. This place is not near anything else, beside the local village and Lilly's Riverhouse (better stay there). So not a great place to hang out for a week if you are not treated as a guest.

While I found another hotel for the night, the next morning I wanted to check out, she wasn't there and so I left a message on Booking and paid both nights. Maybe she had a bad day, that would've all been fine. But sadly I have never heard from the host(s) again.

It’s a lovely secluded bungalow right by Prek Svey village. Great base to explore from and the hosts were brilliant. They offered recommendations of places to visit and where to hire our motorbikes. Thank you for having us.

Highly recommend this place! :) Tom and Roo were so lovely. Absolutely amazing and helpful. The place was fantastic, beautiful and clean. Had an amazing time here, stunning view and wonderful recommendations on where to explore from Tom’s good artistic taste. We will definitely stay here again next time we come. For longer, these 5 nights went super fast. :))

Tom and Roo were excellent hosts. Always happy to chat but respectful in giving you solitude. The location was perfect and relaxing.

Just a minor issue which I discussed with the hosts and has been taken onboard.

The hosts are very nice and helpful (native english speakers). Gave us good tips how to spend our time on the island and we had a great time thanks to them.

The village nearby is sometimes noisy in the morning, but that's not host's fault :).
