The Fantail Couples Retreat

Kinloch is a pretty, peaceful village in a glorious location. The lakefront is lovely and there is a safe swimming beach. Lovely walks easily accessible from the property.

Limited restaurant facilities - be prepared to drive or self cater. There was a bit too much noise coming from the house.

Very cosy apartment and super friendly owner

Very central to biking and walking trails and a short walk to the general store. Friendly and helpful hosts. Compact with good facilities.

Would have liked a window to open at night. During the day had the lovely ranch sliders open.

It was an awesome stay and we would love to stay again! Clean, tidy and really nice facilities.

Kinloch is a beautiful location. The accommodation had very nice decor. Comfortable bed. Nice shower.

The kitchenette was poorly equipped. There were no cooking bowls, or kitchen implements. We had hoped to eat out in Kinloch as the owner's description stated that there were local cafés & restaurants. This is not true...just a local shop that did burgers and fish and chips and it's a 20 minute drive to get to the local town of Taupo. The owner's dogs barked when they went out...the rest of the time it was very quiet.

Quality room, private and peaceful. Lovely location
