Pensiunea La Conac

A rare find in the Romania countryside with fabulous hosts Raluca and Raoul! Great setting, relaxing atmosphere, excellent service and delicious 😋 food. Breakfasts were wholesome! The swimming pool was a pleasure with the hot weather and service in the pool area was excellent. Definitely a place to visit for a relaxing weekend!

La Conac is a surprisingly nice place. We went there with the family, 3 people, we stayed only one night. It's located 15 km away from Cluj-Napoca, in a very remote location, it's quiet, it's peaceful, it has a beautiful landscape, and a really nice view of the neighboring hills. The guest house is ok, the host is really nice person. The rooms are small but you have sufficient space, clean, and tidy. The breakfast was delicious. The garden or the green space around is gorgeous, it has a swimming pool, very clean everything, the water was crystal clear, it has swings around the green space so you can chill out. If you are looking for a place to get away from the noisy city, this guest house definitely a good decision. And yes, the early morning view from the balcony of our room was definitely stunning.

well, there is nothing that we didn't like but there are few things worth mentioning. - the last 2 km road that gets you there is a dirt road, so if it's raining it's very difficult to get there. When It's dry it's ok, but if you don't have s SUV then you will probably go with 20km/h. Now that's not necessarily a problem, because of this, it's not that crowded. - in our room, the beds were a bit noisy when we changed position during sleeping. Now that can be a problem when you travel with kids, we were with our son, who only has 6 months. Now we had a really great sleep, even the big boy, but it was something we were not prepared for, and it's only can be maybe a problem if you travel with really small kids, sensible for every noise. - also the bathroom, when you flush the toilet for example it can be very noisy, but I repeat it can be a problem maybe when you travel with small kids, sensible for every noise.

Very nice, quiet and peaceful location. It is perfect for recharging your batteries away from crowded cities. Very friendly hosts.

Clean, new, quiet, nature, great breakfast and excellent restaurant! Host speaks English! Look no further…this is a great place to stay.
