Super good location, the owner super kind

Very nice host! Walking distance to bus stop and train station (~10 minutes to Venice main island), quiet location, parking nearby.

Subjectively, as our standards on cleanliness are very high, we think kitchen could have been cleaner and bathroom could have been cleaned at least once a day, especially when shared (maybe it was cleaned, we just didnt notice), however at our arrival the bathroom was all clean and ready. Room, on the other hand, was all clean and comfy. Central AC was not working.

Good location, close to the bus which takes you to the island in 20 min.

Lack of air conditioning - two fans in the summer season are definitely not enough

Very comfortable and cheap. + A very amiable lady who communicated through the translator, she left us the memories of the installations and left. However, we don't understand whether she was alive or not during our summer. In all ways we are very comfortable, in a good location near the Mestre terminal, the area where accommodation is most expensive and we are very near the terminal to spend the day on the island.😍😍😍😍

Lili runs a lovely homestay in Mestre, where I spent two nights, just a few minutes walk from the bus and railway station making it very easy to visit Venice. The accommodation is very well kept with modern appliances, exceptionally clean and with a homely feel to it. The room was comfy and one of the best sleeps I've ever had while travelling. Lili doesn't speak much English but her Italian and Mandarin are fluent and nonetheless goes out of her way to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable and makes an effort to communicate using translation apps. She provided me with a lovely breakfast of dumplings on my second morning and invited me out with her one day as well. Unfortunately I had already made plans with some friends but I still appreciated the offer. All of the check-in and check-out related stuff is stress free and relaxed with a lot of flexibility for check in/out times as well. There really was no unnecessary hassle at all. All in all I'd highly recommend this homestay, it's a hidden gem.
