Padova Lux Station

It's a nice place, clean and safe, super convenient to the train. But it's not being cared for and the host won't respond to issues.

Communication was abysmal - there was a scheduled daylong water outage that we weren't warned about (and woke up without water); the host refused to deal with the internet not working and wouldn't even acknowledge it. And things aren't working properly that the host isn't interested in fixing - one of the toilets stopped flushing, the other bathroom sink has barely any flow and the bidet doesn't work (so I guess there's one complete bathroom spread across the entire apartment), several burners don't light. The electric breaker is liable to trip. And if the host feels like, they will selectively respond around midday, unless you are asking them for something. So in summary, if you don't need power, water, or internet, it's perfect.

Close to train station.

There are many problems with this apartment which have been mentioned by previous clients but never improved: minor issues: no kettle, no knives, weak water stream for shower, poor towels, smelly blankets, dark kitchen, malfunction cooker ventilation fan, super heavy window blinds: Major: no response from the owner even you called him/her 100 times via WhatsApp despite I messaged as “Urgent”. At one time the key was trapped in the keyhole in the main door and it took me 10 minutes to take it out and we nearly missed our train because of this. Then the wifi network is down throughout our stay. The most serious is the electricity was gone one evening and the owner did not respond until 3 hours later! I had to knock on the door of the opposite apartment and was lucky the young gentleman showed me to the fuse room next to the car park to switch on the electricity again. But then the electricity was gone a few minutes later and I had to go to the fuse room to switch it on again, then never use any electrical appliance that night. Absolutely a nightmare staying there. The owner said he/she was at work and couldn’t reply, and said he/she was having a hard time as his/her mother is in hospital. Do you believe it? If it is the reason for slow and helpless replies, then his/her mother has been staying in hospital for months since all previous clients encountered the same! He/she also requested the city tax to be paid via a very complicated bank transfer method which is mission impossible for a tourist. In the end he/she accepted cash to be left on the table upon check out. Guess it’s a kind of method to escape taxation actually.

Apartment was very nice and spacious. Location is very good, easy to walk to train station to get train to Venice. Also short distance to walk into old town Padova. Restaurants and grocery store nearby.

Check in process was very difficult. At first, communication the day or two before arriving was good. We were informed of location of lockbox and combination, and asked to send passports through a third party website, which I didn't want to do, but I was able to download WhatApp, get registered, and received texts from the host. The problems occurred once we arrived, since we couldn't get any response from the host. We had to park near the train station, then walk up to the building and easily got the keys to the apartment, as well as they gate keys to the parking lot. They provide parking but it was very difficult to find the entrance to the parking lot. After several attempts to message the host, we found the piazza where the parking lot was suppose to be, but couldn't find the entrance. Finally, the host responded, telling us to put in the name of a salon into our mapping program, since the gate and driveway was right next to the salon. If we knew this two hours earlier we would have been fine. After walking all over the piazza, making several wrong turns amid one way streets, we got the message and got parked. Only then did we hear back from the host, who apologized for the delays. It took us at least three hours from the time we arrived until we were in the apartment. Once we were parked, the stay was very pleasant.

the accommodation was in a good location.There was coffee, tea, sugar, cutlery, towels and a fridge. it was hot in the apartment.

168 / 5 000 The shower did not work properly. The toilet could not be flushed, the tank was difficult to fill every time. We went with three cars, parking was difficult and cost money.

Large room.

Parking is not convenient. Very difficult to park the car. This is not 2 bath. 1 and half. Very poor bath towel which is very poor quality. Very late answer for the question.

The apartment itself is just brilliant. It's large, very well furnished, absolutely clean and walking distance to the centre. Totally nothing to complain about in those terms.

The surroundings and the people when you walk out of the building make an awkward impression to a Central-European. Not the accommodation's fault at all, but it's just halal and kebab everywhere with strange people sitting on the sidewalk, staring at you nastily and doing nothing until you cross the river walking downtown.

Fairly central location.

Poor communication with manager. We lost power in the apartment. The internal fuse box didn’t trip. The manager didn’t answer his phone and it took nearly an hour for him to respond via text message. The directions to rectify the problem at the external building switch board were very unhelpful and thankfully another resident in the building helped us. There are not two bathrooms but one bathroom with toilet and shower and a single separate toilet, basin next to the washing machine. Kitchen was minimally stocked compared to similar apartments we have stayed at……e.g. 3 coffee pods for three people staying for 3 nights.
