"Completed my bucket list, saw the lights from the front of cabin. Saw a moose in driveway."

We were in a cabin, well stocked, great location to see the lights which we did. You can see them from the front porch. They supplied coffee and cocoa. Laundry facilities with soap. Only wish was to have 2 bathrooms, with 5 adults to use 1 bathroom otherwise we survived and everything else was nice. All 3 bedrooms had there own TV, towels were supplied. The owner was awesome and the host. Would stay there again!!

Just another bathroom, that's it.

The host and location where excellent. It was the perfect retreat after exploring Fairbanks for the day. Northern lights where visible from the front porch!

"Nice cabin. Be aware that there is a hidden fee to completely ruin your stay."

The cabin was nice and clean, and private. The rooms were as described.

The day before our stay, a $150 cleaning fee was added to the bill. This added fee was TWO MONTHS after original booking. Every other similar booking (and Booking.com and other sites) had cleaning fees included in the quoted (and we thought secured) price. Leaving the notification of this additional fee to the day before we found to be highly unethical if not fraudulent, especially when conversations with the host revealed that "other guests had complained, too" meaning that this was a known problem that didn't have to be left until the day before our reservation (when alternate accommodations were extremely difficult to arrange, and AFTER the free cancelation cut off). This ruined the feeling of our entire stay. Also, surprisingly loud road noise given that it was in a wooded, dirt road area.
