Alex, the host was lovely, the garden was very nice, the location excellent, within walking distance of the old city, the marina and beach. Alex went above and beyond on our final morning, giving us a lift to the train station because he thought a taxi would be difficult to get.

It really wasn't a hotel. There was no reception on site nor any facilities, even coffee or tea available. More a series of en-suite rooms. But Alex, the host, was very nice.

Fantastic place to stay. Our room was cosy and we really enjoyed the time in the back garden. The host made us feel welcome, with a lot of useful tips about the local restaurants etc. Definitely recommended to anyone who is planning to stay in Livorno.
