My Kefalonia Villa

Beautiful property with a fantastic view. It was tastefully furnished and decorated and kept spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and it was wonderful that each bedroom had an en-suite with nice towels, bath robes and a hairdryer available. The villa was very spacious and had plenty of outdoor seating and sun beds. The sunsets were spectacular!

The pool fountain wasn’t working and in the description, it said there was a whirlpool but it was just a section that was shallow for a child to play in. Also, the outside speakers weren’t working. Some of the lights on the kitchen/dining area didn’t work and also I the electric curtains in one of the bedrooms.

The villa and the view from it are simply amazing. One of the most beautiful villas we stayed in during a vacation. The villa is located a stone's throw from the beach, although it should be noted that it is a rocky beach that is not suitable for swimming. Mark - the owner's representative - was very cooperative and tried to help us with everything we needed. We had a number of minor issues with the facilities when we arrived at the villa and Mark and the owner immediately made themselves available to address the issues (mostly successfully). The water flow in the villa is a bit problematic and so is the matter of the electric curtains that not all work (because apparently not everyone knows how to operate the "smart home" and things get destroyed) but I'm sure the owner will take care of it until we come to visit again. It is obvious that so much has been invested in the villa that it almost makes me uncomfortable to write this, but it is suggested that in the future, umbrellas will be added for shading by the pool and perhaps some other facilities that we met in other villas we visited in Kefalonia (such as: a ping pong table, beach mattresses for the pool, etc.) but that is already Really petty.
