Derwent Avenue self-contained apartments in Headington

The location was close to the hospital which was one of the reason we chose it. It also had a cooker to keep our cost down but unfortunately it didn’t have any plates.

The pillows they are the worst pillows I have ever had in a property. No plates the outside was very dirty rubbish around the garden and the windows had not been cleaned in a very long time which was a bit of a shame.

The location and the price

All the appliances where the cheapest thing and in poor condition, particularly then portable stove which was old and rusty.

This is a great place to say for a long-term visit to the area, with a kitchenette and washing machine. The area is quiet, and residential. It's a 15 minute or so walk to Headington (or bus) to get to the shops. The host provided clear check in instructions, the room was clean, and necessities like dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent were provided which made the stay very smooth.

The location was good for the J R Hospital, just a few minutes away. Excellent Bus route, bus stop just yards away from the Property. Grocery Shops, Cafe, Pizza Place etc. short walk away (down the hill) The Facilities were fine, nice touches like the bottled water & toiletries.

The only down side for me, was the almost constant noise from the person staying in the Room above. I am very tolerant, and expect some noise especially with laminate flooring, but this was excessive, frequently during the day when I was there and at night, up to 01.30am, actually heard very little noise from anywhere else other than keys in locks or doors closing.

I like the kitchen and the possibility to wash your clothes.Nice view from the window.

The property is quite distant from the City Center and JR Hospitals and the buses from there are not coming regularly, so I needed to walk a lot.I have spotted some mold in the shower base.

Gostei da limpeza semanal, do atendimento sempre imediato e eficiente do proprietário, gostei que tem tudo para uma estadia prática, com mini cozinha junto. E é bastante ventilado e iluminado. A Linha 14 de ônibus passa a poucos passos, e leva direto para a estação de trem.

O meu espaço era muito compacto (1 espaço para dormir, cozinhar e trabalhar), mesmo para uma pessoa. Mas, eu já sabia pelas fotos que seria assim. Com exceção do banheiro, este era ótimo de tamanho.! Embora a localização seja muito boa pensando na cidade, dentro do bairro a casa fica um pouco em lugar ermo.

Very nice flat. Few minutes from the hospital. The bed was really comfortable.
