Derwent Avenue self-contained apartments in Headington

It was a comfortable modern property with fresh linen & towels. The location was great for the John Radcliffe hospital. The key box worked well as we were delayed on our arrival meaning we arrived late.

Great location as we were visiting a family member at the hospital.

We were not told about the £10 for parking at the site before booking. However, it worked out OK with the on-site hospital parking.

The owners could not have been more helpful, as our daughter had been rushed to John Radcliffe Hospital. Due to her pregnancy and had a C section there. The apartment was near to the hospital. The owners went out of their way to ensure we could check in early and kept us updated about everything and were very kind. The flat was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was great that there was a kitchen so we didn't have to worry about getting food. However, there are shops near by which stay open until late over the weekend too. It is a five minute walk to the hospital so was ideally situated and is in a nice quiet residential area. There are loads of buses into Oxford from the hospital and the fare is two pounds. We found the flat had all the stuff we needed, the bed was very comfortable and all the amenities necessary were nearby. We hope to return at a less stressful time!

Room is very nice, has everything that you would need. Check in was smooth and information was sent promptly on booking. Perfect room for a couple for a short stay in Oxford. Location is also very nice.

The walls are very thin at this property. I struggled to sleep until the people staying in the five other residences had gone to bed at 1am as the doors to the other rooms opening and closing are very loud, and that was with ear plugs!
