Oak Lodge

Lovely house within easy walking of town centre. Well stocked kitchen for dining in, lots of beds & bathrooms. Great for family gatherings or groups.

Slightly irritating no provision of towels and extreme checking in (5pm) and checking out (9.30am) times.

The property is great! It had everything we needed, bedrooms, plenty of living space and also places to sit outside when weather allowed! Great spacious kitchen and dining room.

Quite a few Mats which we kept tripping up on. The down stairs bedroom could make do with a bit of love to the fireplace to make it feel a bit more cosy.

Location All single beds, good for groups of friends

Door code entry system doesn’t appear to be changed very regularly

This was my 4th visit, with a group of friends, to oak lodge. We love the comfort, quality and location of oak lodge.

Nothing.

The location close to Keswick centre was perfect. The rooms and layout suited our group of ten people very well. The front garden seating and table was very nice in the sunny weather to eat out. The kitchen was well equiped and the bathrooms were comfortable for our needs.

We had no negative issues during our stay.

Size and location of the property was great. The property is so comfortable and well kitted out. We stayed to celebrate a special birthday, a family of 10 and a baby. There was ample space in the property for us to sit and socialise in the lounge and eat in in the dining room. The kitchen was so well equiped and spacious to. Communication from the host was excellent and was at the end phone when we needed him after accidentally locking ourselves out of the property. Highly reccommended.

Beautiful house . Plenty of space and excellent kitchen for self catering. Good to have lots of single beds.

Having to pay extra for towels. No parking - most of us came by public transport but those with cars had difficulty finding a space.

Beautiful, clean, and incredibly spacious house in a great location. Our party was made up of 3 families with a total of 6 adults and 5 children (aged 7-14) and everyone just settled in effortlessly like we'd lived there all our lives. We've already booked it again for next year 😁 You can walk into town in just a couple of minutes, and there's also this great little cinema we visited just round the corner which if I remember correctly dates back to the 1920's.

Hard to find anything negative, but I suppose the parking was a bit hit or miss as it's on a neighbouring street and first come first served. We always found a space but sometimes it ended up being bit of walk back to the house.
