From the moment we rocked up they made us feel at home, the hot tubs were a treat, the onsen beautiful. The on mountain advice was spot on, the breakfast was just what we needed to get going for the day, the home cooked BBQ and quiche were on point. We stayed for two weeks, made friends i know we will have for life but we could hide when we were too exhausted which was just what we wanted. Ive stayed at hostels and hotels in hakuba but these guys have done such a grand job of creating a perfect combo of privacy with the option of hostel community that it's a no brainer.... we will be back for more!!! Thank you so much for everything this place and these people really made it a brilliant holiday.

I like everything about the lodge. The room has its own en suite bath tub and an outside hot bath and balcony. The accomodation also has free breakfast plus they give free shuttle to the ski resort. Chris and Dan are both so friendly and very accomodating. The place is also near Echoland which has a lot of restaurants. It's like home away from home. We will be back for sure next winter!

Amazing, homely, great location and epic hosts. We feel so lucky that we were able to have our first Hakuba stay with these guys - we extended since we were enjoying the place and experience so much. Thanks again Dan and Chris - absolute legends. Can’t wait to come back again.

Great lodge! I can confidently say it's the best hotel in Hakuba. Dan and Chris are incredibly nice. On my first day, Chris picked me up from the station, and when I mentioned my interest in skiing in the afternoon, Chris drove me to the ski resort, giving me a brief introduction to Hakuba. Breakfast starts at 7:00, offering a fantastic variety of juices and milk. The thick-cut bacon is especially amazing! They change the style every few days, with Tuesdays dinner being Ramen Day – a must-try, and I'll definitely go for Dan's recommended tantan next time! I was fortunate to experience Dan's homemade BBQ during my stay – the best I've ever had. Dan is also an excellent snowboarder! Chris provides a sweet daily shuttle service to the ski resort in the morning. The rooms are fantastic, with a medium size and a balcony featuring a private outdoor hot spring – perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing. The game room's massage chairs complement the experience. Many thanks to Dan, Chris, and the other friendly staff for making my week in Hakuba unforgettable! I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Hakuba.
