Dana Gardens Hotel

A comfortable room in a small guest house. A very helpful owner, although no English spoken. Good breakfast. Situated in a small and old village up in the mountains.

Great location in Dana Village. The heater provided is a must in December!

I was the only guest and although I asked for breakfast between 8:00-8:30 the host didn’t arrive until 9:00 each morning. One morning the hot water in the shower didn’t work.

Not impressed When I arrived at the hotel, a person met me and told me that he was the owner of the hotel. He asked me about my nationality and I answered him. Then he told me about my work and his face was harsh towards my wife and he was joking with my wife. This made me angry. He did not speak English well and his conversation was through Google Translate. At that time, I did not feel safe with this person and then he said that he was joking with me. I refused and I am staying at the hotel. Because my wife was afraid. Then I left the place and stayed at a nearby hotel. There was a nice family there and they welcomed me very well.

The location is great to discover the region. The room was cosy and clean.

The quality of the internet wasn’t great.

Ali was very kind and helpful. He knows the area and he can arrange hiking tours. There is free tea with mint.

We wanted him to change the bedsheets because it was a dusty area but besides that There wasn’t anything intolerable.

The manager was so friendly and he made certain I was very comfortable. He also worked so hard to make certain my breakfast was delicious. 😃

Lovely stay at Dana Gardens hotel. Yazeed is so friendly and the homemade dinner was perfect!

For a one-night stop in Dana this is a perfectly good budget option. I informed the staff that I planned to leave at about 7 am, and they kindly agreed to serve breakfast earlier than usual. Actually, I was ready to leave about 6:30, and they still prepared a simple but adequate breakfast for me. Much appreciated!

It’s a budget place. There are plenty of fine viewpoints a few minutes walk away.
