Stunningly stylish cottage.

Really well finished, beautiful village location. Main bedroom is a great size, very spacious, the bathroom is well equipped. 2nd bedroom would be great for kids or as we used it, a second adult. Really comfortable - everything you need for a little break in the peaks.

Only 2 small issues - difficult to find (Hint it’s at the bottom Charlotte lane slightly off to the left hand side as your facing up the hill. And yes, every property in the village is called cottage!) And the parking - your probably need to park a distance away from the property.

Cottage was gorgeous, very clean with new, modern Smeg kitchen appliances. Only used the main bedroom - the bed was the comfiest bed we've ever had in a holiday cottage (checked the make as we will buy one of these when our own mattress needs replacing!) Bedding was very luxurious - super soft feel to the duvet and comfy pillows. Sofa was very comfortable too - chaise section lovely to relax on after a day's walking. Great shower too!

Our only VERY SLIGHT issue was with the parking. As stated, there is a small space directly outside which is on a public road so available to anyone. We tried to park our car (Kuga, so its on the large side) by the garage once we'd unloaded but we needed to move it to allow the neighbours access to their garage. We moved the car to the top of the road (on RHS) which was not very far at all.

Stunning and modern cottage

Really lovely, modern & stylish house. Clearly well considered, loved and cared for. Great mod cons, everything you need & super comfy beds, with fab bedding. Neighbours were very friendly. Parking, whilst no allocated space, really wasn’t a problem.

Shame to not be left a few bits, like a handful of tea bags/little container of coffee/shower gel. Not the norm in our experience. It’s generally a nice welcoming touch and cost is so minimal…. gets you started on arrival after a long journey. Fortunately, it was warm for early March, but it appeared like we didn’t have access to heating after a certain time at night. This may prevent me from staying again potentially, especially in the colder months.
