Amazing Lake Views

A house we would definitely use again! It was immaculately clean and exceptionally well equipped in the bathrooms and kitchen - even some basic pantry staples which we really appreciated as we were travelling for a while. One bedroom had a full wall of hanging and shelves which was very useful. The view over the lake was just stunning and we enjoyed eating our meals overlooking that view each day. The aircon heater worked very well and we appreciated having a car park next to the house. As others stated, a 10 min drive into town, or a 20min walk (it is up a few small hills, but that's everywhere in NZ and even our 6yo coped fine).

There are 2 bedrooms. The front one is on the road side and while it has the big cupboards, was a bit noisy with traffic. The other bedroom overlooks the lake, but has only a tiny free-standing cupboard which was a bit tricky. The couch and lounge chairs are not at all comfortable so that was a shame, but everything else was fantastic!

A new smart TV would have been nice as very limited viewing

Very comfortable cottage in incredible location - the views over the lake were wonderful! Cosy window seat and dining table made the most of the views. Beautiful tui birds were singing in the tree outside the window. Parking was easy right next to the cottage. The house has a well stocked pantry with all the staples you need, and handy extras such as umbrellas to borrow. Plenty of heating in the living area and bathroom. Bedrooms were well set up and very comfortable. Walk into town was about 15 minutes, it was good to be able to walk to avoid the Queenstown traffic. Overall we loved our 3 night stay here!

The view every day was spectacular! The beds were comfy. Nice to have a washer and dryer . Bbq was great and kitchen outfitted well. We walked into town easily .

Pulling out into traffic was challenging at times.

perfect location, easy communication, provided clear instruction where to get the keys before we arrived, hassle free.

maybe the stairs in front of the door are a bit of a hazard the way they are angled

The property was amazing and well kept. The facilities and equipment were in good working order and everything we needed was included, Coffee maker, TV, microwave etc. The location was perfect and walking distance to Queenstown. Also the lake view from the lounge was WOW! Highly recommend the place for your next stay in Queenstown.
