The Lodge

Stayed overnight whike in the area for a conference. The Lodge was clean, comfortable and had eveything we needed. Even better than the photos

Closeness to the road, it could be a bit noisy at times

It was easy to find, bright, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The pictures didn't do this place justice on the size inside either. Very roomy with lots of storage space.

The beds weren't too comfortable and the traffic outside the property was loud, however it was easy to look past this.

Excellent location for my duathlon at Hever Castle. Had everything you needed and was spotlessly clean. Much better then a hotel room would have been and excellent value for money. Loved having a kitchen/dining area downstairs and the main room was massive! Highly recommend

Not that I didn't like it, but it was backing onto a road so I was aware of any traffic noise. That said, I live in the countryside backing onto farm land so complete opposite.

Everything it's a lovely place. Everything is great, high level of decor and ideal for what I wanted.

Road noise is the only thing I can complain about. But it was only at certain times.

The Lodge is a great place to stay with a wonderful host who is always available and happy to help. Although right next to the main road sleep was not a problem in the super comfortable bed. The shower was great. The bedroom and shower room were spotless. It was the perfect spot for our visit to my niece's wedding at Chiddingstone. Beware Tunbridge Wells Taxis though - they charge a lot and cancelled our late evening pick-up (definitely through overbooking)!

Purely for the purpose of (hopefully) helpful feedback........going by stays in other hosted properties. The TV had an issue with satellite connection - didn't trouble us, so didn't ask for a fix, but we would have used Netflix if it was working. The shower head and toilet roll holder were loose. The kitchen was a little spartan. Dining chairs rather wobbly.... A welcome pint of milk in the fridge would have been nice (or other modest welcome treats). Previous occupants had left cutlery and the oven tray rather dirty. A bedside table either side of the bed, with a lamp would be nice - moving the vanity unit (inc. heating control and Google hub) around the wall to the right, next to the window, near the double socket would make space for this. We had to use the vanity unit stool and borrow a lamp from the other bedroom. Having said all of that 😉 it didn't spoil our stay!

Heel appartement met 1 verdieping helemaal voor jezelf en eigenaren zijn de buren maar laten je geheel vrij ; indien nodig zijn ze goed bereikbaar. Zeer fijn uitgeruste badkamer.

Locatie op zich goed maar wel aan drukkere weg met name in de ochtenduren , avond viel reuze mee. Tevens misten we best paar zaken die erg handig zijn in een keuken zoals een broodmes en een schaar bijvoorbeeld
