Juana Ocean Villas

The room was clean and big, with beautiful view, I can enjoy the sea view right from my bed. The territory of the hotel was nice and clean, we enjoyed spending time on the beach. The beach was beautiful and quiet, the people was not bothered us like in another beaches in Zanzibar. The hotel is perfect for those who like enjoy nature and also who like quiet places and don’t care about service too much.

A bit far from everything (but it’s good for people who like quietness). Also services could be better, in our 2 night the was no people to cook breakfast, apparently cook didn’t come, we still get some eggs and bread, quite interesting experience 😃 If you planning go by yourself to the hotel, google maps will not guide you correct way.

Beautiful hotel in very calm and peaceful place. Nobody would bother you here so you can really relax and enjoy Zanzibar. I had a double room with ocean view and it was fantastic, you can see the ocean from your bed. The room is very comfortable, all furniture is new, there is everything you need. Hotel is ecofriendly and use reusable glass bottles for water. The chef is very professional and cook really delicious food (it was the best food I have tried in Zanzibar). The variety of food is not big but everything is tasty. The chef cooked lobster especially for me and it was delicious. Perfect poached eggs for breakfast, guacamole, banana crepes. I liked everything I have tried. All stuff were friendly. Very bad wifi. I bought a sim card and recommend to do the same if you need internet. It is not about hotel, but ocean here is almost impossible to swim. Take a water shoes if you want to go into the ocean and at least seat there. I spent 3 days here and really love this place. It is really remote from everything so it suit for people who look for peaceful atmosphere. If you like to swim in the ocean I recommend to mix your holiday with different areas as I did.

The villa was beautifully decorated, comfortable and private. The direct access onto the beach was very nice. Cleaning was one daily. Nice touch was the water bowl outside decorated with fresh flowers to wash off sand from your feet. Asia, the manager, was very helpful when I was ill with food poisoning from our earlier stay in Stone Town.

The hotel was very remote. Good for a short stay to unwind but for us too far from anywhere. If you want to see more places around you would need to rent a car/scooter or book excursions. We did not like the food very much. The menu was very limited, although you would always have the option to ask for special requests off the menu. We did try that a few times but the cooking was not to our taste unfortunately. There are no restaurants nearby to go to. The sea was not suitable for swimming (partly because of the tides, partly because of alle the rocks placed in the sea by the locals) but I believe the hotel has made plans to build a platform for easier access.

The hospitality of the staff is exceptional—kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the local cuisine is authentic and delicious. The setting is perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation, with a serene and rejuvenating atmosphere. And the sunrises? Simply breathtaking!

This place is one of the best accommodation I have had and even it is better than the photos in booking.com. It’s a real paradise very clean very well decorated very calm and peaceful just in front of the beach and you can see sunrise from your bed. On top of everything is the staff, they are super nice, kind and smiley that makes you feel very comfortable. The breakfast is amazing and varied, they have best banana pancakes the only thing can be better than is the coffee. The restaurant has a good chef and they can prepare you the food as you want even if it is not in the menu. There are also other restaurants and hotels around for food in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this place you will enjoy your time there.

Stunning villa on a beautiful quiet beach. Exactly what we wanted! Away from the busy crowds. The villa, restaurant and facilities were all clean, modern and tastefully done. Food in the restaurant was absolutely fantastic! Best food on our two week trip. Staff were all so friendly and went above and beyond.

The shower was the only let down, it was either boiling hot or cold. Apart from that everything else was perfect
