The accommodation unit did not match the advertisement on the website. The air conditioning did not provide a solution to the high heat in the unit. The shower only had cold water, and the tap was connected in an unsafe way to an electrical cord. At the entrance to the unit we saw rats. The morning we woke up we had signs of bedbug bites. Even though we had 2 nights left that were paid in advance. We left the place immediately.

Casa Mima is super well located in Flores, although everything is pretty close-by on the island. I’ve got a quite big room go the pricey that I’ve paid and it comes with a private bathroom, even though there were not a door separating if from the common areas.

The facilities and furniture were a bit old and there doors were a bit tricky to open.

This is a hidden gem! It was the largest room I had in my entire trip of Central America! The room had two double beds, a sofa, wardrobe, hammock, dining table & 4 chairs, a refrigerator & a cooking range with pots & cutlery! What more does one want for a short stay? It was as good as a home away from home! The property has check-in after 9 AM, but since I reached at 7 AM, I requested them to come and open the door for me, a staff member came from some other location & opened the property for me, giving me the keys as well. (I checked in later when the property opened.) The location is OK, but the property is not famous for taxi drivers and the name outside is that of a shop selling clothes & souvenirs. (Not of the hotel)

I was the only occupant of the entire hotel. No other guests, no staff between 8 PM & 9 AM. It might be scary for some people to know this! The bathroom was supposed to be ensuite, but it was just outside my room. While there was no other room on that floor, so it was exclusive for me, & I learnt later that there were no guests in other rooms in the adjoining building as well, so it was even more exclusive, still it was NOT ensuite. {It mattered because during 9 AM to 8 PM, the shop was open & clients walked in, so I could not go to the bathroom, with only a towel wrapped around my waist}

Spacious clean room Private bathroom (outside of room) with good pressure shower (cold water), hair dryer available, also shampoo and soap provided No sign of accomodation on the building -“reception” is basically in the store (gift shop), google maps location is correct

Staff was not particularly friendly and did not speak English Loud Christmas music blaring from a park nearby until 22:00
