Casa Immersa nella Campagna

We were spectating WRC Rally Italia Sardegna and the base location in Agguis was Ideal. Host Massimiliano was most helpful and quickly addressed the few of our concerns. The property is private and has all the amenities. The pool was well maintained, clean and great way to cool off on a hot day. Poolside shower with H&C water is a plus. Outdoor patio with a canopy just outside the kitchen allows for having meals outside and for socializing. Grocery shopping and restaurants are a few kilometers away in Tempio Pausania. The small town of Agguis also has a couple of places to eat. Superb beaches are a 30 minute drive away on the north shore of the island. We enjoyed our stay.

First, a few general comments about Sardinia. Restaurant and store hours vary, often closed afternoons. Other than a few major routes, roads are winding, narrow and demanding. As for the property, the driveway entry from the main road needs some kind of a marker. The driveway itself is ROUGH and needs to be graded. Host Massimiliano is aware of this and I have no doubt that this will be rectified soon. Water is not potable. This is not really a problem, just needs to be understood by the guests. There is a well nearby for filling a water container and bottles for drinking and cooking. Kitchen has everything but could use a microwave.
