Casa Lavaca Luxury

Me and my family LOVED how modern and up to date everything was. Great space to relax and have good family quality time. Staff was very attentive and sending messages before I could even ask questions. Place looked exactly like photos. I do plan on visiting again!

The trains ran a lot but I’m use to it from where I’m from, and unless you’re outside then it is easy to block them out.

So I can honestly say that if it wasn't for Casa Lavaca Luxury our stay and eclipse experience in San Antonio would have been a real dud. The property is so close to the centre of town which was fabulous. We enjoyed being home bodies too and had a wonderful BBQ on the patio out back. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the bathrooms are clean and everything works. It was a total joy to stay here. Marcus and his team have done a really wonderful job. There is a micro-brewery right over the train tracks which our male companions enjoyed very much.

Just a couple things which people ought to know, but it shouldn't deter to from staying at this property. The house is right near the motorway, in fact directly adjacent to it and also a busy railway freight line. Which, if you're noise sensitive like me is going to be hard to deal with. I can't wear earplugs either, but here's the thing, I couldn't hear the noise from the traffic just the trains and that's just because they would blow their horns (in the middle of the night). It turned out okay though. That was the only setback for me and out of the 5 people that were staying there that's not bad. It's my issue, but if you have a hard time with noise then this might not be the property for you.
