Vista San Domenico

Right In the heart of Palermo!! We were greeted with wine and excellent pastries!! The apartment is big , clean and has a wonderful terrace in the back it was beautiful at night time with the stars !! Close to everything and we were given pastries on our way out !! What a wonderful host!! Any questions we had were always answered!!

The owner Alessandra greeted us at the property and have to say she was generous, kind and very informative. Probably the best host we have encountered on our travels, and we have rented many holiday lets in our time ! The property was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Located in a lively part of town just off via Roma, accessing the main sights was easy and convenient. We had a great week and many thanks agai to our host Alessandra

The meet and greet from Alessandra and Martina was beyond my expectations. Alessandra met me exactly where she said she would be. The apartment was not quite ready being I arrived so early. I was immediately offered to store my luggage with Martina, whom had an apartment in the same building while sitting on her terrace with a delicious cappuccino she had made. I then made my way downstairs (by the way there is a lift in the building) to familiarize myself with the area. Located directly outside the door was 1 of the famous street food markets La Vucciria along with shopping, wonderful osterias, trattorias, and much more. The other very popular street food market Capo is a short walk of 10 minutes away while strolling down the streets passing many mini markets, souvenir shops ect. Once my apartment was ready (Alessandra had said 1:00 and it was ready at 1:00) Alessandra met me again to provide me the keys and do a thorough walk through of the apartment. WOW! Clean, Huge, Spacious 2 bedroom - 2 bath! Along with a Apricot Tart and bottle of vino left by Alessandra. The larger of the 2 bedrooms had a balcony overlooking piazza San Domenico square. The ringing of the church bells was just an added plus. Anyone looking to cook on their holiday? In this apartment the huge kitchen was equipped with ALL essentials. The terrace off the kitchen was just perfect. Alessandra and Martina work together they are a WONDERFUL team. Anything and everything that was needed was available in a timely matter. Whether looking for that delicious restaurant (Nonna Dora) thank you Marina, transportation, directions know matter what it was they ALWAYS responded quickly. I can go on and on! I honestly can't say enough about Vista San Domenico nor the MOST ACCOMMODATING FRIENDLY BEST HOSTS ANYONE COULD EVER ASK FOR. Do not hesitate to stay here for your holiday. I can guarantee you it will be perfect and memorable.

Fabulous location walking distance to wonderful sights of Palermo . Suitable for two couples . Beautifully presented apartment. Spacious kitchen living area . Very generous welcome from host Alessandro with Sicilian cake and wine .

Nothing , a suggestion maybe sun blinds in kitchen annexe to keep cool from morning sun during summer .

Die Unterkunft hat jede unserer Erwartungen erfüllt: Sehr sauber, mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht inkl. Waschraum mit Waschmaschine und Bügeleisen nebst Wäscheständer. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral an der Piazza San Domenico mit der Kirche San Domenico in der Giovanni Falcone begraben ist. Der Eingang zur Wohnung liegt im Mercato La Vucciria. Die Wohnung ist über einen Personenaufzug zu erreichen. Auf der Terrasse kann man wunderbar entspannen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht man fußläufig. Für alle anderen Ziele z.B. den Bahnhof liegt die Bushaltestelle direkt an der Piazza Domenico. Ein ganz großes Dankeschön geht auch an die Vermieterin Signora Alessandra Frioni die uns rundrum von der Buchung der Unterkunft bis zum Ende des Urlaubs sehr nett und warmherzig betreut hat und immer für uns erreichbar war. Einen ganz großer Dank geht auch an Signora Rodi die zusammen mit Signora Frioni den Urlaub zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht hat; auch sie war jederzeit für uns erreichbar.
