We rented both bungalows and they were perfect. One had a small but stocked and efficient kitchen, which we shared. The second bungalow had a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. They were clean, quiet and close to town. Our hosts were friendly and responsive. We would absolutely return.

The road down to the bungalows was a bit sketchy. Narrow, dirt track, potholes, trash, broken windows. Arriving at 11:00 PM we were nervous as to what we were getting into. Once the host opened the gate, however, we entered a clean, neat, grassy and private area.

Location, staff, property well kept and bungalow was clean.

Convenient place to sleep before an early flight out from PPT airport. Room was clean & comfortable. Nice shower.

It would be difficult to find on my own. I called the host and had her speak to my cab driver to give him accurate directions. I recommend that.

The host was really very friendly and helpful. She arranged for transport back to the airport, drove us to the supermarket and back. It was interesting to live among the locals and close to the airport. It also was very quiet.

The warm/cold water supply was unreliable. The bed was rather hard to lie on. Maybe a topmatrass would be a good idea.

Close to airport

We just wanted a good night's sleep before our early morning flight, but when we arrived at the accommodation, everything was wide open, with dozens of mosquitoes inside. We spent an hour trying to kill them until we couldn’t take it anymore and asked the host for a spray or anything that could help. At first, she said she didn’t have anything, then suggested using body mosquito repellent, and only after we insisted did she go to her house and bring us an electric repellent. There were also several spiders in every corner. On top of that, there was no bedsheet on the bed—only a blanket, which is usually not washed between guests, so we didn’t use it. As a result, I got cold, and two days later, I still have a sore throat. We also found food left by previous guests in one of the drawers. To make matters worse, the neighbour was burning something in their garden, and the smell was awful. Lastly, the access to the bungalow is via an unpaved road, which felt a bit dodgy and was full of stray dogs. Luckily, we had a car, so we managed.
