Abdoul was an absolutely lovely host and he made sure we were well looked after! He organized a hike with a guide one day and gave us directions to another hike, to the top of Mzik, which was our favorite. Our room was simple, but had everything we needed, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking to wake up to every day. The two dinners we had at the lodge were phenomenal, so very tasty. The lodge is up on the hillside, with incredible views from the patio and rooftop, 10min walk from the Imlil waterfalls and a 20min steep walk down to town. The breakfast is the typical Moroccan breakfast (bread, peanut butter, honey, olives, eggs, coffee and tea), but no fresh orange juice unfortunately.

A little bit more shade on the terrace/patio would have been lovely, because then we could have eaten breakfast outside. And having fly screens on the windows would have been welcomed.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely place to stay! It is wonderfully located near some beautiful hiking trails. The service was incredible, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The food was delicious. Thank you so much!!

Amazing staff, very kind and warm, always looking out for you. The view that it provides is one of a kind, when you factor in how much does it cost. If I am ever coming back to Imlil, I have no doubts where I will be staying. Thanks to Mohammed and Abdul for all the great service they provide and show the true character of the Berber people. The included breakfast is a feast of it's own kind, 10/10 on that one too.

We had a superb 2 night stay at the Atlas Berber Lodge. After the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, arriving at the lodge was a dream. The beautiful calm setting, the breathtaking views, the clean and comfortable rooms, the delicious local food and the wonderful genuine hospitality from Abdul and his uncle Mohammad are memories we will take away with us forever. Thank you also to Abdul for organising a guided hike for us on Eid which I know wasn’t easy and for letting us sample your home cooked Eid meal - sheep tajin and more - it was absolutely divine! We will recommend this lodge to all our family and friends. They are an all round genuine, kind and hardworking family and we wish them continued success in their wonderful business ✨ 🇲🇦 ❤️💚

Der Gastgeber Abdoul, war super nett und hilfsbereit und hat unsern Aufenthalt wirklich perfekt gestaltet. Das Essen war auch sensationell, es gab traditionelle Gerichte die frisch zubereitet wurden und wirklich lecker waren. Besser als in den meisten Restaurants in denen wir gegessen haben.

What a stunning location. No need for a guide - you can literally join a path out the back and walk up to the top - well the saddle between 2 mountains - took us 2.5 hours to get up (we aren't fit nor experienced!) - up the top there is a little hut where you can buy freshly squeezed juice, water and chocolate bar to sustain you before the descent back down. Beautiful walk - we had lunch in Imlil and then decided to take a taxi back to the hostel as we didn't have an ounce of energy left to walk uphill for 30 mins! Good breakfast of omelette/pancakes, bread, mint tea - served on the terrace overlooking the mountains. It's a very simple hostel but for the cost per night - couldn't expect more and ideal to stay before and after a big walk. Abdulrahman made us an omelette/meatball supper and vegetarian tagine for our arrival which was ideal so we didn't have to think about where to go that first night. The second night we went to Kasbar du Toukbal for dinner - you can walk there along the stream. Lovely place and good dinner but very very expensive for what it was - probably better to go into Imlil as plenty of great places to eat there - then get taxi back up.
