It was perfect for us as a base for our visit

What a gorgeous little hideaway - everything is so perfect in there and I was really comfortable for a night before my work event. Everything inside is finished beautifully and there were so many lovely little touches, like the hot water bottles, lamps. and smart light on the bathroom mirror. The shower water was lovely and hot and there is a really cute retro fridge. Everything you need is right there. Food can be delivered to the cabin although it is only a short easy walk downhill to the quay. (a little tougher coming back up the hill).

I did get lost as it is not easy to find. However, this was not the hosts fault as I was supplied with excellent directions and photos to help me find location. It was definitely my own inability to follow instructions.

Great cabin with everything we needed, towels, toiletries, washing liquid, towels etc.Just a 10 min stroll into town and to the Paladium which was the reason we were staying for a music event. Great comfy bed and lovely shower. Nice and quiet location.

Front door stiff to close. Possibly just needs a bit shaving off the side at the bottom. My car is quite low, so the potholes in the lane and dip by the gate were a little tricky to navigate, but wouldn't put us off coming back.

Great cozy little cabin, perfect for solo travelling, or as a couple. Great location for exploring the Tarka trail

Bed mattress rather soft Sofa uncomfortable

The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen bin was fun and also the bathroom mirror. The towels were soft and smelt fresh. The cabin was comfortable,

Due to it being a Log Cabin, the door was awkward to unlock and very difficult to unlock as it has warped. The door when closed has a gap at the bottom, which causes a draught and makes the room go chilly by 8pm. Tho there is a heater. The metal frame settee gets uncomfortable due to the seat padding being quite thin and the metal bar is uncomfortable for the back of the knee area. I had to sit on one of the scatter cushions for comfort. The TV would not work, I tried every function on the controls, even changed the batteries and went on Google for help. As it was late I did not contact the owner, instead I watched my tablet. The advice sheet does not inform you how to operate the Smart TV this matter needs to be addressed. Also, the bed settee instructions have dried tea/coffee stains on them, surely these can be replaced with new ones. Only 2 mugs and water in the kettle from the previous customers. Tea and coffee was supplied and the milk was in 2 tiny pots which meant that you could only have a hot drink when you arrive, so in the morning you could not have a hot drink. More milk should be made available. The bed was comfortable, however it felt slightly damp and it took me a while to warm up,
