The view from pool, room and surrounding area was spectacular! The level attention of visitors was exceptional! Breakfast selections items were perfect! Comfortable bed and night rest. Host made me feel welcomed and at home. Definitely will return next time!

Everything was perfect

We did not like anything. Worst stay ever on Booking.com in over 5 years traveling.

Estate owner is rude and unwillingly to address problems that arise, she's very defensive and argumentative. Just sort other negative reviews for this property and read her prior responses. It's a theme, and we experienced the same. Musty/moldy smelling common area and rooms (we had family booking room) - VERY dated and old furnishing, like great-grandma's house. Mattresses hard like boards. AC did not work and ended up dripping water into our luggage and making horrible loud noise during the night. We got very poor sleep considering this problem, and made worse when we opened the window for air and bugs flew into room in middle of night. And loud music from bar or party in valley carrying noise to our room after 11pm. In the morning after the first night, we informed the owner that we will depart a night early as the property did not meet our expectations and we experienced a serious problem with the AC unit and major disrupted sleep. She insisted we pay for the first night, but will agree to waive the second as we will depart early. We offered to pay 50%, not 100% for the first night given the horrendous situation. She argued, bullied us, even threatened to call the police! We finally obliged as not to delay our trip further and I presented her with my AMEX card. She said she will not take that card, even though on booking.com it states the property accepts. We finally left without paying (fearing our safety and wishing to continue our vacation in peace) and I immediately called booking.com support who said it's entirely up to me if I wish to pay her because she did not provide a satisfactory accommodation, plus she did not follow booking.com procedure by accepting AMEX when her settings t the time allowed AMEX payment. The breakfast was mediocre at best -- eggs were ok, but croissants taste store bought and packaged wonder break with bleak fruit. Many better places to stay in area. Read the poor reviews before booking.

This property is absolutely amazing, the staff especially near are so kind and helpful. It is so peaceful and safe which was very important for myself and my motorcycle. The food was outstanding and would 100% recommend the place. Unfortunately being fron Wales in the UK its a little bit to far for a weekend away 😕

Beautiful Quinta with Olive trees, Grapes, Cherries. Delightful staff, great food, quiet, comfortable room. We liked everything about it.

Beautiful views and surroundings - vineyards, cherry trees and wild flowers. Great swimming pool area, good breakfast and friendly service

It was all excellent

Lovely location on the hill, very clean, fantastic breakfast (starts at 8:30) with very nice view of the valley. We decided to have dinner there and both the menu and the service was really good. Very close to Lamego. Rita and her staff had been always very attentive to any request. This place is very peaceful and quiet and it is a great value for the money. It's a pity we didn't have more days to spend there

The only details where a weak internet in room #5 (upper floor) due to the thick walls and that the room on ground floor, where my parents slept, had not much privacy as the windows face a main path to the restaurant and parking lot and people can look inside passing by.

Superb staff. At dinner there was a Dutch couple, French couple and ourselves. The waitress was so charming with all of us, which is such a gift. The evening meal was really lovely, my lamb chop main course was delicious and the wine from the estate a lovely accompaniment.
