White Swan Cottage

I rang the contact given when we arrived and they told me to go to the bar at the pub to collect the key. The property was relatively secluded round the back of the pub in the pub car park. I can imagine in the summer there may be a fair bit of evening noise from the rear decking area of the pub and the pub car park but we went at a quiet time so apart from a few cars in and out it was very peaceful. The property was exactly as pictured but cold on arrival and took a while to warm up (February). The kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils etc but we ate at the pub with an added bonus of 2 for 1 on selected meals from the standard menu. There was guest access to Netflix and Amazon TV and WiFi code on the window ledge. The sofa was fine for 2 people for watching TV but any more people would have to sit sideways! We only stayed one night but were happy with our choice and would recommend. Tea, coffee and sugar, t towel, bath and hand towels and hand soap were supplied. Overall, the property had everything you may need and was comfortable and cosy

A small hand rail at the top portion of the stairs would be a great addition.

Spacious Near facilities

Cold on arrival and then heating put on but couldn’t turn it down so either very hot or freezing!

Spacious and well equipped staff are very welcoming and lovely meals in the pub

The cottage was lovely. Fantastic conversion to a home. Very spacious and clean. Really peaceful during our stay. Staff were lovely
