Ancien Cinema Loft

The kitchen is lovely. We appreciated the large selection of teas, and the opportunity to buy some of them for €5 a bag to take away. The apartment was very clean. The location is excellent, close to Vianden castle, and there is parking. The views from a walk along the nearby river are beautiful. The accommodation is perfect for solo travellers.

The lack of curtains anywhere in the property reduces the privacy, especially for couples. I would not recommend this accommodation for couples.

It was lovely! Nice host. Really pretty apartement with everything in it. Also loved the vinyls. If you get easily woken up by sunlight, bring a sleeping mask because you can't make it dark.

The host was brilliant. The apartment was amazing, the generosity of all amenities from the kitchen to the bathroom was outstanding ,the trust of the host was brilliant. So 60s retro is was amazing. The parking under the premises is so good. You are right above the bar and restaurant.

Everything perfect

Every now and then you stay in accommodation that makes you wish you were able to live in permanently, and consider redecorating your own house. This is one of those places. The owners have exquisite taste in terms of decor, and at the same time have created a comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Small details (you can try their impressive tea collection and enjoy the equally impressive record and CD collection) make this so much more than just another hotel/apartment. The staff in the cafe downstairs are very friendly, and for a drink and something light to eat I would not bother going anywhere else. Vianden is a lovely town to walk around, visit the castle or do a bit of hiking.

There is only a bath and not a shower, but that is a minor drawback, in light of everything else.
