Han kender alle de gode steder i byen, og kan give dig en autentisk og spændende oplevelse af byen. Han er også altid klar på at dele en flaske Arrac, og fortælle røverhistorier.
DEI stayed 7 days at Bunty's place. And felt like at home. Bunty and his family are very caring and supportive. I needed to work online and asked for good wifi and a good working place. Bunty offered me to use the top room for work whenever it was free. They also offered me several little gifts like a local rice soup or chocolate cake. I also tried out the dinner at his place and I can totally recommend their rice and curry! Bunty also supported me with a great driver to get to the Ambewela train station. I would come back for sure. Thank you very much!
LKI left my bag on the coach when I arrived in Kandy. Bunty managed to track down the bag and the bus, then he drove to another town to collect it.

INThe food he served at night was over paid.He provided us a car with AC not working.That was also was over paid.Actually he had cheated us in a gentle way.
DEThe host Bunty cares for everything and he is really friendly, the balcony view is amazing - especially for sunset. Also the room has high speed internet that allows working very well ☺️ He even offered late check out that we appreciated very much!
AEStaying with Bunty's family was like being with my own. He was super responsive from the very beginning and came to pick me up to the station upon arrival. I took the apartment as I was going to be working for quite a few hours a day and I wanted space, a desk and good connection (and great view) and it was a great choice. The room is spacious, full of light (no curtains to the exterior) and a little terrace ideal to have a tea and enjoy sunrise or sunset. The house itself is beautiful and has a garden outside if you also want to have a tea or your b'fast. I got different b'fast every day (my favourite was the "pitu" with curry) and they adapted to my hours, as every day was slightly changing. The family lives in the house and they are very discreet and lovely. Anusha helped me also with the understanding of the SriLankan cuisine and made incredible dishes. We also had fabulous chats and she taught me how to do some recipes. I extended my stay because I really loved it and could have been there for a long time. Bunty also helped with an issue with the router and, while being fixed, he lent me some data from a hotspot. it's all about finding solutions and helping constantly! He even dropped me off at the station at 4.45 am the day I left!! That's kindness!! Hospitality out of the ordinary and a fabulous place to stay! Thanks for treating me like familiy!!
It was fabulous. Just bear in mind that going to town is downhill and coming back is uphill, but more than doable. And you can always grab a tuctuc.
DESehr schöne Zimmer, viel Platz und netter Vermieter (Bunty). Man muss wissen, dass Bunty eher wie ein Vater einer Gastfamilie ist und nicht nur Vermieter und auch Tee und Öl zum Kauf und bezahlte Stadtführungen anbietet. Er hat sich gut um alles gekümmert, wie Essen, Stadtführung, Fahrten, Wäsche usw., sogar als die Wäsche nur unvollständig aus der Wäscherei zurückkam, hat er sich darum gekümmert, dass die Klamotten noch nach Ella geschickt werden.
Uns war es teilweise ein bisschen zu viel, noch beim Essen Tee und Öl zum Kauf angeboten zu bekommen…

AUBunty was an incredible host who showed me around Kandy and showered me with incredible food and great suggestions, whilst also treating me as a friend. His English is incredible and he stopped at nothing to ensure I had a wonderful experience and view of Sri Lanka and its wonderful culture. I had access to a large bedroom with a comfy bed, and a lovely upstairs view at my disposal anytime I needed to catch my breath. He also dropped me at the airport for a great rate and organised my laundry being picked up and dropped off. He also has access to a great local doctor if you need anything at all during your stay. Thanks Bunty, it was a pleasure.
