This was as close to a home away from home as we could expect. The cottage is lovely and could accommodate our family of 5 perfectly. The host is very accessible and welcoming, responding immediately to any messages before and during the stay. The house had everything that we needed, sufficiently supplied with cutlery, plates, and suitable elements for home cooking as well. The cottage has comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms. There were some consumables available too The area is very peaceful and quiet too, nice for relaxing and a good walk, but with very fast access driving to the M25. Nearby Oxted has some larger supermarkets to get provisions if the local shops at Godstone don't suffice.

There isn't really anything we didn't like. It is worth mentioning that parking for the car is on a narrow country lane. Not that this is an issue, but as I had a rented car I was mindful of it being scratched (which did not happen). There is a pedestrian path from the lane up to the cottage.

I loved the garden and the kitchen was spacious and the couch was nice and there was a very large tv. The hot water supply was constant, so showering wasn’t an issue.

The mattresses are awful and should be changed immediately. I woke up at 4 am and my back was killing me. Worst sleep ever, please invest in good quality mattresses. There was no coffee machine and I love making my coffee in the morning and I was looking forward to drinking my coffee in the garden as soon as I woke up but obviously could not. The parking is a bit of a nightmare but this is not Larry’s fault but does provide a challenge.

Absolutely lovely cottage - well equipped, spacious and fabulous garden which was so private .

Slight problem as no hot water for first day but this was not the owners fault and a one-off. He did everything he could to make the situation better-thank you! Would definitely stay again .

Stunning location. Very handy for our needs. Good sized property with plenty of room for three friends. Good value for money.

Not really a dislike - just suggestions. More kitchen equipment needed such as more mugs, plates etc rather than the bare minimum. Bath towel and a hand towel per person would be great. The house smelt a little musty in places but we assumed it was the damp weather.

A lovely little cottage with pretty garden in a pretty area. One bedroom is en suite with showers and there is also an upstairs bathroom and a for stairs toilet. Well equipped kitchen.

Wouldn’t. E easy to get to by public transport and parking is only on roadside
