They agreed to change our room when we figured that it was not very clean as offered. One person on staff was always very helpful right away when anything broke, which happened multiple times during only a few days. The swimming pool was not very big but very nice. The Carrizalillo beach is stunning and within walking distance.

The room was located a bit below the rest of the building and this could be why it turned out to be infested with ants, spiders, (small) cockroaches, and the like. This was a bit unsettling for the kid.

We LOVED having the pool in the blistering heat of the afternoon. It was definitely the highlight. It was nice to have the room made up everyday too.

Our biggest disappointment was the lack of amenities in the room. There wasn’t a fridge! We weren’t able to keep any cold drinks, water, snacks or left overs. A real bummer when travelling on a budget. There also was no coffee and though there was a nice little patio it had no chairs! Beach towels, even just to rent would have been a great option since the reason we stayed out that way was to be close to the best beach in the area, Carrizalillo. The first night we were there there was no hot water or wifi but it was fixed in the morning. The last night we were there the plumbing went down.
