"Quiet & restful stay with plenty of sightings of deer & eagles"

8.0

A characterful house. Obviously a former family home & certainly isn’t sleekly modern, but very comfortable & quirky with fab view & great to have the sauna and open fire - and a gas cooker in a home rental for once!

It had no information book/ folder which was a shame. It’s have been nice to have guidance on walks, access to beach, local info, fishing spots, etc etc

"As above"

4.0

The shower is powerful. The heating is effective quickly. The double bed was comfy. Amazing scenery.

The kitchen was small with very limited work space and we couldn't work the grill or oven. Cold stone floors and cold house in the morning. Some Windows let in a draught and unless you use the real fire the house chills down quickly. The car has to be parked at the side of the road and you have to drag your things up and down a grassy path. Recycling difficult..same for whole island I think.
