Homewood Suites by Hilton Denver International Airport

Breakfast was amazing.

The only issue was the smell in the lobby probably due to the leakage.

I was surprised that they gave me 2 free water bottles when I checked in. Also they had happy hour from 5-7pm and offered salads, wings, desserts, beer & wine and coffee and tea etc all for free! I didn't have to have dinner. Also the check out time was 12:00 noon which was excellent!!

There was one situation where there was a leak or something in the ceiling of the lobby area. They were repairing it, but the smell was horrible. Unfortunately, it was first thing in the morning and it was right where everyone was having breakfast. I'm sure it couldn't be helped.

The room was very comfortable and clean. It made me feel at home. I liked that there were several restaurants within walking distance.

The only thing that needed improvement was the pillows. They were very worn.

Hotel was logical stay for us due to a flight cancellation. They had a nice shuttle to the property from the airport. The staff was exceptionally kind, room was comfortable. They have a dinner each evening which is one of the reasons we selected this hotel due to being tired and not having a car. We slept fine and were able to take the shuttle to the airport the next day on time!

They served dinner, and normally this brand of hotel has decent food, this was really terrible, like “not sure what they were thinking” terrible- some kind of gloppy meat on a stale bun terrible. Even my husband, who will eat anything (!) would not eat the rest after a bite. I didn’t even bother getting a plate as it didnt look appealing to me and I didnt want to waste. The only other thing was a toxic smell that was super strong due to some kind of maintenance started that evening and was still present when we left.
