Close to the train station and free onsen tickets for public onsen next door.

Room was very dirty. Dust everywhere. Toilet and wash basin was very dirty. Only one male shower for whole place. Shower was very dirty and looked like a cow shed. Roof in the common area was leaking, there was a crack in the ceiling and a bucket on the floor to catch the water.

It's much better than the rating suggests. The room is cheap, fairly large, and very comfortable, and it's very well located in the city. The only bathroom is a bit rundown, but you get tickets to go to the onsen next door every day. There's a rooftop and a kitchen. I recommend it.

It would still be great to fix the bathroom.

The staff were very friendly, and the room was spacious.

The men's toilet smelled

Very basic but good and clean enough for a small family like us. Close to the station, public bath with hot spring and town centre with lots of eating places.

The owner of the hotel was always absent when we wanted to ask something but we'd managed to find a solution by ourselves.....

It's not really the owner's fault, but noise travels very easily in the building and many guests were not considerate of others, stomping and talking loudly. There were parties going on in some of the rooms that seemed to include people who were not staying there, as once when I went downstairs for breakfast there were 4 people sleeping on the couches in the common room. The place was clean enough and the room pretty spacious, but definitely don't stay here if you value your sleep at all.

Good value for money.

It’s an older property but I can’t really expect much from that town. There were no staff but the person I spoke to on the phone was very nice.
