Ignite guest house

Within it price range $7 and not more this guest house is a decent option ( I've paid $8), but don’t expect anything modern. The room was a good size, the shower had hot water ( should ask in advance) and the Wi-Fi was reliable — all appreciated at this price point. David, the manager, was polite, professional, and helpful during most of my stay. However, I had a disappointing experience when I tried to extend my stay. The rate listed on the website was $8 per night, but when I inquired directly, David immediately changed the price on the website to $9. The next day, when I've asked for the price again and I told him, if I book it directly with you, you wouldn't pay commission but he said the price is $10, despite the fact that he wouldn’t be paying a booking commission for a direct booking and on the website was $9. When I mentioned that there was another place on Booking.com with better ratings and breakfast included for $8, he simply said, “If you want, you can go there.” In the end, I booked two extra nights online for $17.82, which means the guest house had to pay a 15% commission — not a wise business move on his part. While the stay itself was okay, this interaction left a negative impression. However, after my booking the price was reduced to $7 and later on even to $6 which will be the right value for this guest house.

Definitely the place is more than 1.1 km from the city centre and in the isolated area. Later on, I found out some unpleasant adult activities were going on and noises was coming out of their rooms even at the early hours in the afternoon and I felt so uncomfortable, this action was not fitted within the guest house roles and certainly not suitable for the families especially with kids. There is a possibility these facts will be denied by the owner or manager.

The room comes with hot water shower. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. They have bottles of water for sale. Good value for the money.

We had to ask for the towels and the toilet paper. It was a little noisy outside our room in the later evening, but it quieted down.

They did not hold our reservation and gave it to someone else. In fact, they turned us away middle of the night with no where else to go. I do NOT recommend this place.
