Casa Badú

Quite simply the best place we have stayed at. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and the beds super comfy. We originally booked for one night and then extended a further two (we would have stayed for longer but it was fully booked - not surprisingly). The top floor of the building has a big open bar and rooftop pool space looking out over the sea which was our favourite spot. Laura and Ulises were the perfect hosts; helped us sort a bike rental and just great company. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough and will be staying here again as soon as I can.

Laura and Ulysses were extremely nice and available for any question or help. They shared many tips to live the experience at its best. Nice to swim in the pool while watching the sunset. We enjoyed the gym with the ocean view

The neighborhood of the hotel is not very well served: no cafes/bars/restaurants close (a minus especially for breakfast, since the hotel doesn’t provide it). However, you can be fully independent by renting a scooter; otherwise, moving by taxi is quite easy

The hotel is very good, few rooms but very well projected. Shower, WiFi worked perfectly which is good for the region in general. Bedroom is super comfortable and could have a few chat with the owner, very nice guy! There are a bar and small pool in the rooftop. A place that you feel like home, good energy. Location is great near from the 2 “centers” of Zicatella, one more calm with good beach clubs and the other with a lot of bars and restaurants. (~7min drive each).

There is no breakfast included and in our case the restaurant was closed.

The ambiance of the place is great! It's totally a place to relax and just take in the sound of the ocean waves. The restroom located on site had great food, too.

The owners/staff were so incredibly helpful before I arrived. This trip was to celebrate my best friends 30th birthday: Laura was receptive to me wanting to organise a cake, decorations and a bottle of Prosecco. When I arrived, they had it all ready and helped me decorate the room. The room was spacious and the overall architecture and design of the Casa is perfect. Its location is quiet and walkable with beautiful views and an on-site restaurant open Monday to Saturday , that had the best smoothies yum! What a great stay!

Lovely, intimate hotel. Instructions were clear and sent prior to the trip via WhatsApp for self check in, which was very easy. King room with terrace was spacious and full of light. Bed was comfy, wifi worked great. Bathroom could improve (shower door did not worked properly but it was fixed. There’s no shadow in the pool area. Nearest restaurant is 15-20 min walk.

Laura and Ulises (and Chula, their dog) were amazing hosts, super accommodating and were very helpful when we had travel difficulties from Oaxaca. They have great contacts for experiences in the area, we recommend surfing! The hotel was beautiful, very clean and we loved the ‘guest house’ vibe and laid back nature. There are also beach chairs and umbrellas available for use which was really helpful in the heat. The location was great, near lots of restaurants and bars and just a short taxi ride to swimmable beaches. The pool and view of the beach and sunsets made for a perfect stay.
