Valicha Casa Hotel

This was honestly the best accommodation we stayed in during our travels. The hospitality was absolutely incredible – so warm, kind, and genuinely caring. They helped us with everything we needed without hesitation. We were even able to leave our belongings there while we flew to the jungle for three days, which made everything so much easier. The breakfast was amazing – huge portions, lots of fresh fruit, and so many delicious options. They also arranged our airport transfer, which we really appreciated. What truly stood out the most was the owners’ approach – it’s something we’ve never experienced before. Their level of care and kindness is simply unmatched. We don’t just recommend this place – you honestly have to stay here. On your way to the hotel, you’ll also get beautiful views over Cusco from above, which makes the whole experience even more special. Plus, there are plenty of small shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. Simply perfect. ❤️🫶thank you so much 🍀🇵🇪

O café da manhã foi simplesmente maravilhoso, com grande variedade de opções e tudo muito saboroso. Destacamos também a presteza e a simpatia dos funcionários, que foram sempre muito atenciosos, educados e prontos para ajudar, tornando nossa estadia ainda mais agradável. Sem dúvida, foi uma experiência muito positiva e recomendamos fortemente a hospedagem.

Very clean and quiet place to stay with breakfast included. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. I had two stays here whilst I did different trips (Machu Pichhu and the jungle) and left my main backpack in the hotel and travelled light; it was there for me on my return. Also they let me have a room and a shower when I returned to the hotel from the four days in the jungle before my flight home for a decent price. Thank you for the stay and to all the staff, you were brilliant 👏🏻

L'endroit : L' hotel se trouve a l écart du centre ville contrairement a ce qui est mentionné et se trouve en haut d une grande pente de plusieures centaines de metres pénible à monter. J ai donc dû prendre un taxi à chaque fois pour rentrer à l'hotel ce qui ajoute des frais. J ai été aussi deçu de ne pas pouvoir inviter une amie un soir à discutter dans ma chambre...une personne est venue toquer dans ma chambre pour me signifier qu elle ne pouvais pas rester là car j avais booké pour une seule personne meme si c était juste une visite. Donc pas de possibilité d inviter qui que ce soit dans sa chambre. J'ai trouvé le petit déjeuné très moyen aussi.

We were put into a room that literally looked like a prison cell it was very depressing. The staff were super friendly and showed us another room but it only had a double bed. Can’t fault the staff at all they were all lovely and tried to be as helpful as possible. Okay for one or two nights. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quite. We actually did sleep well. Also shower is powerful and hot.

Location - the hotel is about a 15 min walk from Cusco centre (downhill) but it’s at the top of a really steep hill so you need to get a Uber back unless your up for a trek!

Located up the hill from the town centre so bit of a walk or taxi. Noisy road but that’s usual in Cusco!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating (I could leave my luggage and rely on the staff with any questions).
