The Snug Townhouse

Great locationin the middle of everything and very clean

Updated but very little space to move around. It’s snug.

It was new & clean, friendly staff

The word snug definitely defined it. No room inside the rooms, open the door and take 3 steps and you are at your bed. The bed was wall to wall, no walking around, only crawl over the bed to get to the other side. Shower was like a motor home, very small. No place to put your luggage, and definitely had to take turns to get ready and could barely pass by each other in the small space by the door.

The location was excellent as I was looking for something within walking distance to pubs/restaurants, shopping, historical areas, etc. Although there isn't an attached parking garage, there was one very nearby, and I appreciated the Snug discount that was applied when we exited.

I didn't like that there isn't an elevator. We were traveling for a couple of weeks and had two larger suitcases that had to be hauled up several staircases to get to and from our room. (Note that the person at the reception desk when we arrived did help us carry the bags up to our room which was very helpful.) Also, although we were right in the heart of the activity on Quay Street, we had to use ear plugs (some were actually provided in the room) to block out the loud pub noises in order to sleep before the pubs closed.

The location was terrific! We were able to walk to shops and restaurants. The beds were comforatble, and the room was clean. Check in was very easy.

Very loud at night because there was a bar downstairs!
