ESI liked everything, it is spacious, it is very comfortable. The room is in excellent conditions and the bed is amazing! though it is true that the bedroom and kitchen needs a little improvement but if you think on the price, it is ok. And the bed and the room makes it all worth it! The distance to Ubud is considerable, but you can rent a motorbike, you can also find the best coffee place right across the road and some very good restaurant around, at a wakable distance. I personally loved it.
The bathroom could be improved, it si clean though.
MYYou need to drive thru a bit of winding road before arriving at the village, at the end of the Campuhan Ridge walk. The owner is an artist who sells his work downstairs. The interior is quite basic but spacious, comfortable and functioning. Balcony with good chairs and rack to dry clothes, and full view of the village thoroughfare. The bed comes with mosquito net.
A rooster that starts crowing after 3am is the only nuisance during my stay. No signboard displayed. Our driver had to call the phone number to pinpoint the house, which is next to a white bungalow, opposite Widi Cafe. The area is quiet and dark after sunset, when the trekkers are gone. You will need a ride to Ubud central for night life.
