Zzzip Guesthouse in Hongdae

Everything to love about staying at ZZZIP Guest House. Jina and Bryan were great hosts and make the entire vibe of the place feel like a home away from home. Endless amounts of recommendations and even telling you their personal favourite eating, drinking and cafe spots. You can’t go wrong with booking here!

I didn’t dislike anything about staying here, the best hostel experience I’ve ever had!

Amazing staff, Jina and Bryan are amazing, super helpful. Great place to meet more people, very appealing and cozy common area to meet other guests. Amazing location in Hongdae, but on a quiet street. Very close to all the clubs and pubs (and there are lots of them) in the neighborhood.

The kitchen is a little bit less inviting for group cooking, but from other hand cooking is not really required with so many places to eat around :)

ZZZip Guesthouse is the best hostel style accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. The facilities are well kept and clean and you can easily talk to the hosts. Jina and Bryan, the hosts, are extremely accommodating and welcome you in like a member of extended travel family. They have endless recommendations for your visit to Seoul and other cities in Korea also. It’s a real vibe and community hub for travellers staying there.

Os donos do hostel eram muito prestativos, e a energia do lugar era ótima pra conhecer pessoas. Lugar perfeito pra quem viaja sozinho!! Tem um grupo no whatsapp que todos são colocados e isso facilitou muito na hora de marcar pra sair com os outros hóspedes. Todo mundo conversava na área comum também, é muito fácil de fazer amizades. O café da manhã era simples mas tinha todo o básico (suco, pães, frutas, café etc). O lugar é limpo e os hosts sempre tinham dicas ótimas de passeios e lugares legais pra visitar pela cidade, inclusive do que fazer em dias de chuva. Os quartos tinham lockers pra pequenos objetos. A localização é boa, perto do metrô e de uma parada de ônibus, e uns 15-20 minutos a pé do rio Han. Fica uns 15 minutos a pé também do agito de Hongdae, onde ficam os bares e baladas, mas a hospedagem em si fica numa área residencial então é bem silencioso à noite.

This is an absolute gem! Super cozy and incredibly social (if you want it to be). So easy to meet people in the common room area and everyone I met there was very sweet and easy to talk to! Jina and Bryan also have the best recommendations for Seoul and were a great help with any question I had! Already looking forward to my next stay there :)

Loved my stay here. Jina and Brian were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help me make the most of my time in Seoul. The common area is great for socialising and meeting other people, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were always super clean!
