Everything was well thought, clean, cosy. We felt like home. Kitchen has all the equipment. If we decide to stay in the same area we would definitely come back here.

There was nothing to dislike.

"Lovely home from home. Very special place to stay."

The grounds and the house were just beautiful , even in the winter. It was so welcoming and comfortable and we felt right at home. The touches like house plants and the fire lit and fresh cakes on arrival just made the place feel special. Very friendly and welcoming host. We loved it and hope to return with our daughters in the near future. We also took our dog who really enjoyed the grounds.

If I had to be really picky I'd say my car took a bit of a battering coming on and off site as the private road had tyre tracks which caused the gap in the middle to scrape the underneath of the car. It didn't spoil the trip but would potentially put me off coming in inclement weather or after a lot of rain... but .....It is what you come to expect with a rural location. If I had a 4x4 instead of a Ford focus estate I'd have no worry. I'd advise against going in a lowered car.
