The Moose

The Moose was everything we expected it to be, and more. My daughter and I stayed for her med school interview and we both loved everything about the stay. Parking is very tight, like they note, its for small cars and you have to back out downhill when you leave. You can park in the back, after a couple of days, I felt very safe parking in the back after dark. It is more of a residential area than downtown, tucked in a very quiet area, Victorian Village, so it is surrounded by historical homes and govt buildings. It was a very quiet and a very safe place to stay. The rooms was very clean, we stayed in the end room and loved the big windows with the old houses across the street. The room is very spacious and has everything you need. The bed was comfortable, lots of hot water, more lots more space than a hotel, you can get more towels downstairs if needed. It is very easy to get downtown and to the medical district quickly. It isn't walkable to downtown, you will need a car. I received a few text updates, asked if we needed anything, service was excellent. When we return to Memphis, we will stay at the Moose again.

Quick weekend trip to Memphis. Excellent location between Midtown and Downtown. Clean and safe. Some gated parking. Outside area gated as eell so felt safe coming in late at night. Quiet with check out at 11 am so was able to come in late and still get rest.

This was basically like having my own studio apartment for the week. Very pleasant and comfortable, pretty much everything was there for normal living needs. Secure parking is available. Nice outdoor shaded seating area, separate shed with laundry facilities. All checking in and out done remotely, with codes provided for access. A nice change from the normal hotel room...I would absolutely stay here again. :-)

This is a12 unit motel/apartment property just a few blocks from Children’s Hospital and about a mile from downtown proper. We really enjoyed it stay and the communication was proactive so that we felt hosted even without staff on the premises. The walls are thin.

Cute decor. Comfortable space. We stayed for a week and would stay again when we are in the area.

Very attractive facility with all the amenities needed.

I stayed in two different lifts and both were clean, modern, and both offered thoughtful amenities from personal comforts such as lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and even ear plugs. There was a snow storm while I was here and the manager, Amit offered to get groceries for me. He is very nice and his mission is for his guests to have a comfortable stay. This location is very convenient to Beale St in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful old mansions.

Great property in a historic area of Memphis. We loved it!

Amazing renovated studio apartment building. Better than any hotel you will find in Memphis! This is a true little hidden gem that won’t break the bank to stay at. The owners hard work is very apparent as soon as you pull on the property.
