The Moose

Excellent accommodation, clean, beautifully decorated with many added extras. Felt safe on the property. We were hoping to walk to a restaurant and walked in a direction that didn’t have many dining options on that day and time unfortunately. We should have researched more. Our fault.

Nice quaint property for a weekend stay.

Everything about the Moose was excellent from communication before arriving to the stay itself. We were doing a road trip and arrived earlier than planned so messaged the management who allowed us to check in very early (literally as the suite had just finished being serviced. The suite was well equipped with a good shower (always important) and spotlessly clean. The Moose is a $6-7 Lyft ride from down town and all the sights (it was easier to leave the car parked at the Moose). All in all an excellent place to stay and I recommend.

We loved the Moose. The rooms were very comfort, well-equipped and immaculately decorated. The rooms we stayed in had as much attention to detail as I have ever seen in a hotel. The bathroom had everything you could need and the bath products were salon level quality. The room had an electric guitar for our use and an amp outside. I have never seen that before. Room also came with phone chargers at the bedside. Umbrellas were available for us as well. Kitchen had everything we needed. But the quality of the room was not the best thing about the stay, the service was even better. We were scheduled to go to Atlanta but they were being battered by the hurricane and we needed to stay in Memphis an extra day. Management was able to get us into the room next door, at a reasonable rate and prioritized the cleaning of the second room and we were able to stay in one room until the other was clean. Communication was great throughout the stay and this will be out go to place for future stays in Memphis.

The property was very very clean and the area was quiet it is in the historic district. Only two things I didn't like; the parking doesn't accomodate the guest (I was locked out of the back gate and couldn't get in). I had to walk around in the rain.

Safe, Quite and clean. Easy communication with the owner, I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and the space. The kitchenette and refrigerator came in handy. The amenities were excellent.
