Excellent experience with the Heritage group of houseboats Dal Lake Sri Nagar , The way they handle guests is truly outstanding — very professional, warm, and caring. The food was absolutely Nice. Every dish, whether at breakfast or dinner, was delicious and perfectly prepared. Quality and taste were excellent throughout our stay. What impressed us the most is that they provided such high-quality service and food at very reasonable prices. We were treated extremely well by the Heritage of Houseboats team. Our booking was effectively canceled by the houseboat owner without formally canceling it on Booking.com. On arrival, we were denied stay at the houseboat, despite having a valid confirmed booking. Because of this last-minute denial, our entire travel plan was disrupted, and we were forced to arrange alternative accommodation at a much higher cost. This caused unnecessary stress, financial loss, and ruined planning.

If the property was unavailable, the owner should have officially canceled the booking through the platform, instead of refusing the stay on arrival. This behavior seriously damages traveler trust. I strongly feel that such properties should not be allowed on Booking.com if they do not honor confirmed reservations. This experience made us lose confidence in both the property and the platform’s reliability.

It was cold at night and in the mornings. Needed more heating .

We stayed here for a very long period. And we loved it, the associates made it very easy for us to survive the winter nights here. The breakfast was amazing and #Bilal_bhai was outstanding, he made us feel safe like home. Would definitely suggest this houseboat as ur destination at dal lake. 🤗
